We hope you’ll think so when you learn what we will be able to do for you. Paxport acquired Multicom at the beginning of the year. After this summer, we will become ONE company acting under ONE brand - Paxport. Our technology centre will be based in Bristol, UK and our merchandising centre and HQ in Stockholm, Sweden.
The MDS - connecting providers and sales channels
Our Merchandising and Distribution System will enable automated transactions between travel service providers (airlines, hotels and others) and resellers (tour operators, OTAs and traditional travel agents). The MDS not only aggregates and distributes the fares and bookings, but also additional services like choice of seating, extra luggage and a preorder duty-free service. In Addition, the MDS merchandises the ancillary services to optimise conversions and revenues throughout the entire process from search and booking to post-booking.
Service providers that connect to the Paxport MDS make their services readily available and effectively marketed to travellers across a multitude of sales channels. Flights can be bundled with seats, hotels and duty-free purchases, enabling the reseller to offer customers flight and non-flight services they have never been able to sell before, adding revenue and differentiating their brands.
