What is a cookie?
A cookies is a small text file which a website may generate and put on your computer or mobile device when you first visit a site or page. A brief explenation of what a cookie is and what they are used for and also the benefit: In order to remember your user preferences, help analyse the website’s performance and to recommend content relevant to your visit. The cookie will help the website, or another website, to recognise your device the next time you visit. 1. Session Cookies: These are cookies that are required for the website to operate properly. A session cookie will only exist while a users session is active, and remembers that the user is the same visitor throughout the site.
2. Performance Cookies: These cookies are used to monitor website performance and for highlighting areas of the website that are relevant to the user’s visit. They allow us to correct errors and discover effective linking solutions. They do not collect information that can identify the user.
