With more and more destinations requiring advanced passenger
information system (APIS) compliance, the need to collect and
distribute passenger data efficiently has never been greater.
By allowing passengers to access and provide APIS data themselves,
Pax Security offers a convenient and effective way to collect and
distribute APIS data.
The system also provides another touchpoint for the promotion
of additional services and products.
Pre-requisites for Pax Security:
Specification over attributes (passport number, first night of
accommodation etc) that needs to be collected and distributed to
authorities.
- Specified routes and / or flights applicable for secure flights
or eborders for example.
- Timings and cut-over point to airport systems.
Configuration/setup for Pax Security:
- Set a window for collection of APIS within the Revenue Plus
framework.
- Configure transmitting data via UNEDIFACT, PNL and XML messages
to the authorities in a secure way.
- Define reporting needs, establish feed to CRM system e.g. if
reminder push messages needs to be sent to passenger to fill in
data.
- Testing activities throughout the entire network of airport
stations and the authorities.
